Terenure Sports Club has serviced the community with a range of sports for many years. The move to change the name of the club from CYM Sports Club to Terenure Sports Club supports the ethos of community inclusion through participation in sport. The club is based in a diverse community and inclusion of each and every community member is a cornerstone of the club.
We make sport available to our members all year round with rugby, soccer and table tennis throughout the winter months, bowls and cricket during the summer. Access to tennis and our members’ gym is all year round.
Alongside our main sports, Terenure Sports Club has a choir, a golf society, as well as housing darts and pool.
We offer something for all the family all year round.
Terenure Sports Club is an unincorporated association. The club is run by a volunteer executive committee made up of club members who are voted for at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year. The executive committee comprises four officers, the President, Vice President, Honorary Secretary and Treasurer, as well as ordinary members, each chairing a committee taking responsibility for the main areas of the club – the bar, membership, rentals, marketing, house and grounds.
The club constitution and club rules are the foundational documents to ensure that the club remains a club that is run both for and by the members.
We aim to be a club based on the core values of integrity, camaraderie, respect and enjoyment.
